Celtic Tree Month of Holly
Rainy, hot, humid

Things are growing. The morning glories are finally starting to bloom. The Etoile Clematis is gorgeous.

We have quite a few sungold tomatoes on the vine. I hope they start turning colors soon, so we can eat them.

The lettuce is nearly finished, the herbs are doing well, the rest of the tomatoes are getting blossoms.

The tiger lilies and shasta daisies are blooming.

There was a gorgeous green hummingbird drinking from the hosta blooms the other day. I adore hummingbirds.

We don’t have any Queen Anne’s Lace or Feverfew this year. We had so much the past two years, and I miss them.

We’re in for a hot, humid patch, which I’m not looking forward to, but the plants need it.

I’m longing for a place I own, so that I can set up permanent gardens and build them, year-to-year, the way I want them.

How are your gardens growing?
