Waning Moon Second Quarter in Leo
Celtic Tree Month of Ash
Mars Retrograde
Saturn Retrograde
Cloudy and cold
We lost the pear seedlings and some of the peppers. None of the herbs have come up. We lost the cyclamen to that awful bug thing that makes little pods on the leaves and eats through. There was no way we could save it. The tulips in pots have shot up leaves, but no flowers. So that’s all distressing.
But, on the positive side, the crocuses are blooming out in the yard, and the daffodils are peeking out. So that’s all good.
I’ll start the tomatoes soon, and maybe a few other things inside. More greens this year — it was nice, last year, to eat salads almost all summer. And everything tastes better if it comes from the garden.
The radishes have leaves, but no radishes, and I’m not sure what the carrots and the leeks are doing, although they’ve got leaves. Fingers crossed.
